Brockwell Lido Swimmers fought off another successful battle to come last at the annual Heron Cup Invitation Relays at Tooting Lido. If nothing but consistent our ten strong team battled through the sixteen races to come third out our three.

New to the team was Ashleigh McLeigh who produced a jaw dropping first width of backstroke, quite taking the opposition and ourselves by surprise. Also of particular note are the ever reliable seniors of our team Michael Keane and Annie Taylor who both swam magnificently.

All great fun and we very much thank the South London Swimming Club for their continued programme of team racing. What would we do without you?
