Sunday 12th July 2015 is the 10th anniversary of the European Big Jump – a River Swimming Day where tens of thousands of swimmers across Europe will be take a ‘Big Jump’ into their rivers and lakes at the same time, on the same day (2pm, BST).

For the fifth year running the Outdoor Swimming Society will be leading the Big Jump campaign in Britain, with members across the country running social swims in their area which will be listed here – encouraging others to love their rivers and lakes and go swimming in them.

Mark the date in your diary for a picnic and river swim! And if you want to make it into a social swim please read the Swim Responsibility Statement, list your event on wildswim.com and email OSS the details and the wildswim URL so they can include it on their Big Jump list.
