For generations, the pool has been a place where our community comes together to swim, relax, and recharge. Now, with your help, we can make it even better. Brockwell Swimmers, the volunteer-run local swimming club, is leading this fundraising campaign to create a beautiful, sustainable, 16 seater, poolside sauna that everyone can enjoy.

Why a Sauna?

Cold-water swimming at Brockwell Lido has never been more popular. Each year, more and more people are discovering the physical and mental health benefits of outdoor swimming, from boosting circulation and immunity to easing stress, improving mood, and building community connections.

A sauna would perfectly complement these benefits, helping swimmers warm up safely, recover faster, and enjoy the pool year-round. It will also make winter swimming more accessible to newcomers and encourage even more people to experience the joys of open-air swimming.

A Space for Everyone

The proposed sauna will:
• Seat 16 people comfortably.
• Be electrically heated for efficiency and environmental friendliness.
• Sit poolside, with easy access for swimmers.
• Be designed to complement the heritage character of Brockwell Lido.

This will not just be a luxury, it’s an investment in community wellbeing. It will create a welcoming space where people can connect, share stories, and support each other through the seasons.
