FreezeFest 2027

Get ready for the ultimate winter swimming challenge! On Saturday 23rd January 2027, 10am to 1pm, Brockwell Lido will host our annual Brockwell FreezeFest cold-water swimming championship open to all. Whether you’re a seasoned ice-miler or regular cold water plodder, this is your chance to join swimmers from across the UK in one of London’s most iconic outdoor pools. Be aware, the water temperature could be as cold as 5°C, or lower. Wetsuits or neoprene will not be allowed.

The competition will feature 50m, 100m and 200m individual races, plus a fun 200m four-person team relay. With three age categories in play, everyone has a fair shot at glory. Competitors will also be able to relax and warm up in poolside hot tubs and a sauna, making the day as social and celebratory as it is competitive.

Don’t miss your chance to be part of a landmark winter swimming event. Entries are open to all, regardless of club affiliation, and spaces are limited. So rally your teammates, sharpen your freestyle, and join us at Brockwell Lido this January for an unforgettable day of cold-water camaraderie and competition.

    Please confirm you are an experienced cold water swimmer and have regularly swum in water under 10°C without a wetsuit?
    You agree that the Brockwell Swimmers club can retain the data submitted on this form. It shall not be sold on to any third parties and may be used to contact you about future FreezeFest events.

    Freezefest 27 registration.
    Brockwell Swimmers is a non-profit organisiation. Your membership fee will help pay for insurance, equipment, social events, pool hire, web and general running costs of the swimming club. Brockwell Swimmers reserve the right to contact members from time to time with essential club information.
