With FreezeFest returning to Brockwell Lido on Saturday 23 January 2027, it’s time to start thinking about which challenge you’ll take on?
The inaugural FreezeFest in January 2026 brought together 223 swimmers, who raced in water at just 7.8°C. The morning featured individual 50m, 100m and 200m races, alongside four-person relays, creating a memorable celebration of cold-water swimming, competition and community spirit.
Building on that success, FreezeFest 2027 will once again give experienced cold-water swimmers the chance to test their speed and endurance, whether competing individually or joining forces with teammates for the relays. From a fast 50m sprint to the challenge of 200m, there’s an opportunity to push yourself and enjoy racing alongside like-minded swimmers.
But FreezeFest is about more than times and medals. It’s a chance to bring the cold-water swimming community together in the unique surroundings of Brockwell Lido, with spectators welcome to cheer on the competitors free of charge. So, which will it be: 50m, 100m, 200m or a place in a relay team? Places are already selling out fast so get on board and sign up today.
