Once a month Brockwell Swimmers will hold a Sunday morning get together at Brockwell Lido. This is a chance to get to know other members and swap hints and tricks over coffee and cake – we’ll take it in turns to bake! See you poolside, pre or post swim, at 10am on the following Sundays:

3rd March / 14th April / 12th May / 9th June / 7th July / 11th August / 1st September / 6th October / 3rd November / 1st December

OPEN WATER 2019

Brockwell Swimmers are offering an opportunity to broaden your swimming experience further afield each month with trips to a variety of Open Water venues.

Sessions will be a mixture of coached and un-coached, and tailored to the swimming proficiency of those attending but you should be comfortable swimming at least 20 lengths of a 50m pool before joining us on an away day to ensure maximum enjoyment. It is also advisable that you visit Brockwell Lido beforehand to acclimatise to cold water. Wetsuits are not essential but may be preferred.

We will confirm meeting times for the venue closer to the event but lift share will also be coordinated among those traveling from London. To assist you with diary planning we usually meet locally at around 9am or at Brockwell Lido car park between 6-7am depending on how far we are traveling. We follow our swims with a hearty pub lunch before returning to London mid afternoon.
