After sixteen months of shutdown it was an amazing relief to get back to some sense of normality with the return of our annual Brockwel Club Relays on Thursday evening 22nd July 8pm to 9pm. It was great to see the pool full again with swim clubs from South and Central London keen to celebrate a love of swimming and a return to why our beloved Lido was built; the sport of swimming.

Clubs taking part were Brockwell Swimmers, Clapham Chasers, Serpentine, South London Swimming, Spencer and Windrush Triathlon. Races started prompt at 8pm with four person relays in Crawl, Breaststroke, Medley and finishing with a ten persons Squadron relay.

The results were: joint 6th Serpentine team two and South London Swimming; 5th Brockwell Swimmers; 4th Windrush; 3rd Clapham Chasers; 2nd Serpentine team one; and 1st place Spencer Swimming Club.

Thanks to all who took part and we look forward to hosting more events next year.
