Brockwell Lido was alive with excitement on Thursday evening as eleven swimming clubs from across London gathered for the annual Brockwell Lido Summer Club Relays. Blessed with a warm summer evening and a fantastic atmosphere, the event showcased the friendly rivalry and community spirit that make London’s swimming scene so special.
Congratulations to Spencer, who took the honours after a series of fast and closely contested relay races. Out to Swim claimed second place, with Crystal Palace Masters completing the podium in third. The full results were:

A huge thank you goes to every swimmer, volunteer, supporter and staff who helped make the evening such a success. Special thanks to Island Chocolate, who kept competitors and spectators fuelled throughout the evening by serving their delicious chocolate treats during the racing, adding to the festival atmosphere around the pool. Also Herne Hill Sport for prize donation.
The celebrations continued afterwards at the Prince Regent, where swimmers from all the clubs came together to relax, catch up with old friends and make new ones. It was a fitting end to another memorable Brockwell Lido Summer Club Relays, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back 27th May and 22nd July 2027.
